Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Naleno platform and mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Naleno is a field service marketplace that connects businesses ("Clients") with independent field engineers ("Engineers") for on-site technology services. Naleno provides the platform for routing, matching, communication, and payment facilitation.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Engineer Obligations

As an Engineer using the Service, you agree to:

  • Perform accepted work orders professionally and in accordance with the agreed scope
  • Arrive at scheduled times and complete check-in/check-out procedures
  • Upload required deliverables (photos, signatures, documentation) as specified
  • Maintain accurate profile information including skills, certifications, and availability
  • Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations at work sites

5. Client Obligations

As a Client using the Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate work order details including scope, site information, and requirements
  • Maintain sufficient wallet balance to cover routed work orders
  • Review and approve or reject deliverables in a timely manner
  • Ensure safe working conditions at service sites

6. Payments and Fees

  • Naleno charges a platform fee (currently 15%) on completed work orders routed through the marketplace.
  • Client funds are held in escrow during active work orders and released upon completion.
  • Engineers are paid through the platform after work order completion and client approval.
  • All payment disputes must be raised within 14 days of work order completion.

7. Communication

All work-related communication should occur through the Naleno platform (in-app chat, notifications). Naleno is not responsible for communications that occur outside the platform.

7A. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By creating an account and providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Naleno Platform Inc. These messages include:

  • One-Time Passwords (OTP): Verification codes sent to confirm your identity during registration, login, and security-sensitive actions. Frequency: one message per verification attempt.
  • Work Order Notifications: Alerts about new assignments, routed opportunities, application status, and schedule changes. Frequency: varies based on activity, typically 1–5 messages per week.
  • Account Alerts: Security notifications and important account updates. Frequency: occasional, as needed.

Message and data rates may apply. Consult your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan. Naleno is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.

Opt-out: You may opt out of SMS notifications at any time by texting STOP to any message from Naleno. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message. OTP verification codes are required for phone-based authentication and cannot be opted out while using that login method.

Supported carriers: Major US carriers are supported including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. International messaging is available in supported countries.

SMS messages are delivered by Twilio on behalf of Naleno Platform Inc. Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Naleno Platform Inc. You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, documents) but grant Naleno a license to use it for providing the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

Naleno provides the platform "as is" and acts as a marketplace facilitator. We are not liable for the quality of work performed, disputes between Clients and Engineers, or damages arising from the use of the Service beyond the fees paid to Naleno.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate their account at any time. Naleno reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Outstanding financial obligations survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
